I used my pattern making skills and designed summer dresses for my daughters.

What do you think?
I love the fabric and had to use a collection of them.
I love the roses and dots!

Now should I make the pattern available to you?
I am debating on if I should make a PDF pattern and put it up on my etsy shop.

Little Lola Highlight!

I love Little Lola dolls (shop for them on Etsy)! I have purchased a couple of them! They have such darling vintage flair and sweet timelessness. When I saw this cutie I was drooling over her red riding hood and cute fabric choices. I had to highlight this delightful doll!
Check out the other cute dollies she's made here on her Flicker collection!
This doll was made especially for her daughter, what a lucky girl!
I commissioned (she takes special requests) one for my daughter with special requests for dress and hair color which was fun, but I love the one I bought 1st, without choosing any colors. All of them are soooo adorable.I also had to show off the fabulous sculpted sculpture I got from her!
She has such talent! Check out some of her other lovelies here!

I.saw this Pink and Chocolate Paisley with a hidden cute Owl fabric and had to do something fun!
so I have a circle skirt with a matching tee shirt that I appliqued with an owl from the same fabric as the skirt!

Do you Love this? It is size 18-24 months. Skirt is 100% cotton and the top in a cotton-poly blend. If you want this darling attire for your toddler check out my Owl Cutie Etsy listing for it!

Creating Treasures

I love darling hand created gifts for babies and children!

I also love to make them myself. At baby showers and Christmas parties , I have received compliments and comments like "you should sell these"

SO! I have been sewing up a storm!

I-really want to have a stash of things ready for a crafting boutique on the net!
Little Peek a Boo Books and
blankie sets, crotched snugglies, and sweet things to treasure.

So here I am going to give the internet crafting world a tryout.
Hopefully my creations are loved by somebody and their baby!

That they go happily home to them, is my wish for each piece I work on.

Tell me what you think and what thoughts you have about my little collection.

little lola Doll!

Soft dolls are so darling aren't they. I just bought this one on Etsy! I gave it to my daughter for her Birthday. She loves it. In fact all the moms at the party were delighted with this vintage looking doll. She is the perfect size for huging.
My mom checked her out (she sews) and said that she was made very well. Mom was impressed. Sometimes her opinion is that only old school sewing is done correctly. She sees alot of fast/hasty poorly sewn things. She, on the other hand, sews for perfection and will sew and rip and sew it again however many times it takes.
I'm wandering.

Returning to this doll. I loved dolls as a girl and I still Love dolls today!
When I shop for my daughters I want nice quality, so they last, and a look that is timeless and not trashy. Lots of dolls are trashy these days. So when I saw this soft hand made doll at Lolas1island on Etsy I had to order right then!!!
I love her! I love her hair and the clips in her hair! i love the little bird sewn on her skirt too!
I just had to share!
