Surprise Makover!

A little birdie flew over and surprised us with a playroom make over!

This lovely room was thought up and designed by my sister Mer! She is so very talented!
She recruited my entire family (brother in law, siblings, parents...) in these parts to put it together. My mom and other sis AnnieCarie sewed and cut and painted and glued. They put it all together while I was with my husband and kids in the mountains!

Baby Kildeer Chick

Going outside I heard a really loud & funny chirp. "Dee, dee, dee"
Looking closer I see a baby Kildee (or kildeer) chick.
He ran really fast with really long legs but I had him cornered by the porch so we had a photo shoot.
Check out the legs and the fuzzy wings. I am not sure where the nest is but he probably lives close. We hear his mama all the time!
He is pretty cute though. Guessing he's male but I don't have any sort of real knowledge to say what he is.
He looks like he's smiling here!

Here are some of my favorite pictures from the swap!

They had to send their partner a package full of summery goodness incorporating the theme of parasols, pink lemonade and polka dots. They sent at least one handmade item, one thrifted/second hand/vintage item and one sweet treat. All in the price range of under $20 not including shipping. How fun and their goodies give me all sorts of fun ideas!
